I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you received me in your homes, naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me, in prison and you visited me....I tell you, whenever you did this for one of the least important of these followers of mine, you did it for me! Matthew 25:35-40

We asked our school community for input to help us select a local charity to support and fundraise for this academic year. We are proud to announce we have chosen to support Glossop Mountain Rescue. The team provide a rescue service in the Peak District National Park dealing with incidents both on the hills and within the community of Glossopdale. They are a self-funding team of volunteers offering a vital service to those needing help or in danger.
Our families' generous donations of cakes and money to spend at the coffee morning helped us to raise an amazing £345! Our parishioners could not join us this year so we took the cakes to them!
We had this message via Twitter - Love these photos! Thank you to everyone at Saint Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy for your support this year. Best wishes, Jamie - Coffee Morning Team.
