Year 3's trip to Eureka Children's Museum in Halifax started with an 'interesting' sounding workshop called 'From the chew to the poo!' They explored the journey of a peanut butter and banana sandwich through the digestive system.

In the Human Body gallery they played reflex games and measured their reach and stride. The children used the hands-on exhibits to find out more about x-ray and ultra sound machines.

The Soundspace Gallery had them experimenting with the properties of sound and how to make it.

A trip to Eureka wouldn't be complete without a trip to the Town Square where Year 3 could be the grown-ups working in the bank, shop, post office and garage!

What a busy day for our young juniors!
