As detailed in the update letter dated 18 March, it became necessary to make decisions, following government advice, to cancel all forthcoming school trips and residentials.
Following the closure of schools, the Trust Finance Team have supported schools to issue shopping vouchers to families in receipt of free school meals. This was the priority.
We have now had a request for information from the Central Finance Team of the St Ralph Sherwin CMAT. We are working to provide them with the information they need in order to refund payments made for trips and residentials that can no longer take place.
The Trust will then begin to make refunds through the ParentPay website directly back to parents. Please note Saint Mary’s school is not processing the refunds. At this time we do not have a date when these refunds will be made, but will communicate this to you when we know. In the meantime, you may of course log in to ParentPay to check your balance. There is a link with information about withdrawing credit in the ParentPay section of our website here.
If you had not originally been able to pay through ParentPay and we made arrangements with you to pay for a trip or residential by cash, the Trust Finance team will be in touch with you requesting the details of the bank account to which a refund should be sent.
